Batteries & Chargers

Batteries:

We carry a battery for every AEG we have in stock, as well as additional batteries like 9.6v versions for increased rates of fire. You will need to buy a battery seperately if you purchase an AEG, as no AEGs include a battery. If you are unsure as to what battery to choose for your AEG, please take a look at the Related Items below the AEG description. It shows you the batteries that are compatible with that AEG.

Please note that we recommend 8.4v batteries for all of our AEGs, even though lots of models can accomodate 9.6v batteries. 9.6v batteries put more stress on motor components and as a result, your AEG will not last as long.

We strongly advise you to only use 9.6v batteries if your gearbox has been upgraded. AirsoftEire.com will not honour any returns with damage caused from 9.6v batteries.

Chargers:

Currently, we only stock one charger, the TLP 4000C. The main reason for this is that it acts as both a charger and discharger, and can accomodate any battery size and any battery power rating. It is extremely reliable, has an active cooling fan and we are selling it at the lowest price you will find anywhere.

Cheaper chargers are unreliable, can get very hot and typically support a small range of batteries. We believe the TLP 4000C is amongst the best chargers available.
