ULTIMATE Complete V.2 MP5 M100 Gearbox - Wired To Rear
This is a version 2 gearbox wired for battery connection at the rear of the rifle, suitable for all MP5 variants.
These gearboxes comprise of numerous high end parts that work seamlessly together.
Standard gearboxes are produced with regular shimming of the gears and made in large numbers with basic components to keep costs down. ULTIMATE gearboxes are precision assembled by skilled technicians to ensure the tolerance of the mechanical parts is balanced to minimise friction.
Every technician even makes sure that every ULTIMATE gearbox performs and sounds like a well-oiled piece of machinery.
Comes standard with an ULTIMATE M100 spring for power right up at 1 joule and a normal torque gear ratio of 18.72:1.
The gearbox contains all the parts you see in this section, including a metal bearing guide rod, low friction ported cylinder, precision cylinder head, chromium plated 8mm bearing gearbox, low resistance silver wiring, ported aluminium piston head and reinforced steel tooth piston.
All parts are lubricated with minimal transparent synthetic grease.
They have a VERY high rate of fire with just an 8.4v battery (remember these aren\'t even high speed gears!)and come with a unique serial number etched on the side.
Price seems high until you compare them to Systema gearboxes, priced at over €230 delivered to Ireland, to which the ULTIMATE gearboxes are every bit as good.
We have also priced these gearboxes lower than they should be (RRP is €200) to make them more attractive.
Kane Gurney (Friday, 05 October 2012) Rating: lovely built gearbox well made all the parts are outstanding quality, rnshoots true and feels powerfull and one might even say it jumps about in ones hand whhile fired on full auto. You can feel the piston slam forward and back whilst shooting. I have a m100 spring in mine and i run a G&P M120 high speed motor with a 9.6 its a shaame to say i get more of a rate of fire out of a stock dboys gearbox :( i dont know why but its substantially lower unless that gearbox had a m80 i cannot fathom why it would be diifferent.however the sheer quality proceeds this.rnrnI still have a problem that i see serious with this gearbox.rnwhilst firing on semi automatic the trigger locks back like if you where to hold it back. This is a small problem but i dont think a 160 euro bloddy gearbox assembled by so called expert technitians should have a problem within the first week.Airsoft eires customer support helped me diagnose the problem ( thanks to steve) but i have not yet got around to solving it.rn
