The much anticipated CZ 805 Bren series of rifles is here, complimenting ASGs ever-expanding line-up of CZ airsoft guns.
Launched in 2009, the real-steel Bren was adopted by the Czech armed forces in 2010.
This super-high quality replica from ASG sports an aluminium upper receiver and polymer lower and weighs in at a substantial 3.04kg. All materials, notably the polymer used is very tough and durable, giving the rifle a very robust look and feel.
Available in two barrel lengths, this A2 variant features a 10" outer barrel with a 310mm inner barrel.
The flash-hider can be unscrewed exposing a 14mm counter-clockwise thread.
The upper receiver has laser engraved "CZ 805 BREN" markings, officially licensed by CZ. It also has an inbuilt front and rear sling attachment and a monolithic integral Picatinny rail on the top of receiver.
Integral 20mm rails are also located on the left and right side of the handguard, as well as underneath.
Front and rear nylon sights are included and can be removed or re-positioned anywhere along the top rail. They are a button-release, flip-up design and can be folded down and locked out of the way of an optic.
Magazine release is integrated to the trigger guard and is ambidextrous.
Includes a 550rd nylon high-capacity magazine, more available here. The Bren can also accept standard G36 magazines.
The polymer pistol grip is very comfortable to hold and the shaped trigger allows for smooth controlled trigger pulls.
The stock can be detached with the removal of a single body pin, no tools required, giving access to the quick change spring.
The stock has an adjustable cheek piece, as well as five positions via the retractable design. It is also foldable to the right side of the AEG.
Working charging handle exposes the adjustable hop-up unit when retracted.
Reliable V3 gearbox design.
Battery compartment is located in the upper receiver and is accessed by removing the stock. The Bren can accept 7.4V stick batteries, as well as 9.6V NIMH stick-type batteries.
